2014 Championship Women`s

Despite the fact that paintball is mostly a men`s sport, there is still a joy for men to see women playing paintball! This year 6 National Federations were lucky to represent the Women`s National team for the European Championship, those were Russia, France, Netherlands, Great Britain, Germany and Poland! Unfortunately for Norway, this year they did not manage to collect the players for Women National team.

Women teams attract the biggest amount of spectators in the stands.  Spectators showed their readiness to support their teams even before the competition began, by filling out the grandstands in front of the CPL field. The National anthems led to great support from crowds, with supporters singing along and waving their national flags! Each team was showered with screams and applause from the strong, packed crowd!

The grandstands were completely packed with spectators throughout all the tournament, right up until the very last game. Spectators were very emotional, supporting their teams through every point.

We should congratulate Russia with the title of European Champions, as promised by their Coach Sergey Samuylov last year. French National team was very close to the first place! Let`s hope that tough training and hard work will help them to get first next year!

We would like to congratulate all the participants, the National Teams and all the National Federations that were involved in the organization. Thanks must go to the Euroref guys for all their hard work, and those who helped to produce the very best paintball atmospheres – the spectatores!
